Dana Biederman, O.D.
Dana Biederman, O.D. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, Therapeutic Optometrist, and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Originally from Alabama, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with honors from the University of Florida and received her Doctorate of Optometry with honors from Southern College of Optometry located in Memphis, TN.
Dr. Biederman is a proud member of the Texas Optometric Association, Northeast Texas Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, and American Board of Optometry. She also works with Essilor Vision Foundation, which provides glasses and eyecare to children in need.
Upon completion of her optometry degree, she moved to Frisco where she resides with her husband Hunter, and their children Finn and Sloane. During her spare time, Dr. Biederman enjoys running and attending sporting events.
Amber Paulsen, O.D.
Dr. Amber Paulsen is proud to provide eye care for Frisco and the surrounding communities. Texas has been her home since completing her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston, where she graduated summa cum laude. As an optometric glaucoma specialist, she has over a decade of experience diagnosing and managing medical conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts.
Dr. Paulsen works with each patient to determine their unique vision needs, which may include glasses, contact lenses, refractive surgery or any combination. She practiced in a cataract and laser setting for several years, and now brings that experience to her patients at Frisco Family Vision.
Dr. Paulsen enjoys volunteering locally, and has worked with Essilor Vision Foundation and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity to provide eye care to the underserved. In her spare time, she likes to read mystery novels and play unique board games with her husband and two sons. She looks forward to seeing you at Frisco Family Vision!
Dr. Annie Houston
Dr. Annie Houston, a North Texas native, completed her undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, TX. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences located in Pomona, CA.
As a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, Dr. Houston gained a great deal of knowledge during her externships at the Doris Miller Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Ernest Childers VA, and various primary care practices in both California and Texas. Her training at the VA hospitals emphasized ocular disease including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, as well as co-management of such conditions with other healthcare providers.
Dr. Houston is the proud wife of a nine year United States Army Veteran, with whom she has three wonderful children. She looks forward to caring for your vision needs and forming lasting relationships with patients of Frisco Family Vision.
