We Accept Multiple Eye Insurance and Medical Plans

Vision care is important for anyone. Regular eye checkups can identify any conditions that may affect your ability to see clearly, allowing you to take the necessary steps to correct your vision and avoid issues that could affect your daily life. However, the costs of vision treatment may be a concern, especially if you need to pay for new glasses or contact lenses. Fortunately, insurance plans are available that will help cover the costs of treatment.

Here at Frisco Family Vision, we accept multiple types of vision plans and medical plans, and we can work with you to make sure you will be able to afford the costs of treatment. Depending on the coverage provided by employer-sponsored health plans, you may be able to use vision insurance or medical insurance. Vision insurance will generally cover some of the costs of routine eye care and corrective lenses, while medical insurance may address treatments for eye injuries or diseases that may affect your vision.

Coverage for Eye Care and Vision Services

Depending on your individual plan, some or all of the costs of our services may be covered. In most cases, you will be able to receive:

• Eye exams - Our comprehensive examinations will not only test your vision to determine whether changes may need to be made to the corrective lenses you use, but they can also identify any eye conditions or other concerns that may need to be addressed. Most vision plans will allow you to receive one eye examination per year.
• Glasses - We provide a wide variety of stylish frames, and with our in-house lab, we can ensure that lenses will be created quickly so that your new eyeglasses will be available as soon as possible. Your vision plan may provide coverage for a new set of glasses every one or two years.
• Contact lenses - We offer multiple types of lenses based on your specific needs, and we can perform fittings to ensure that you will be able to maintain comfort and address any concerns you may encounter. Vision plans may allow you to receive a new supply of disposable contact lenses each year or receive other types of lenses as needed.

In addition to addressing routine eye care, you may receive coverage for other types of treatment, including LASIK or eye surgery. We can work with you to determine what forms of treatment you can receive under your insurance, and we can provide referrals to other providers as needed.
